Natural and refined, intentional and sophisticated.

We believe a home should be a sanctuary— not because of what fills it, but because of how it makes you feel. In a world that constantly tells us our spaces need to be perfect, we choose a different path: one where beauty and function meet mindfulness. Our design philosophy honors intention above perfection, crafting thoughtful, balanced spaces that ease your day-to-day and support your well-being— a home meant to hold life.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Autumnhouse exists to create effective interiors that inspire connectivity. By identifying comfort through classic design applications and new and old perspectives, the approach is functional and beautiful—resulting in spaces that are luxuriously welcoming and highly relevant. This balance is achieved through a combination of historically rich principles, timeless aesthetics, and a contemporary ideology.

  • “Our deepest gratitude to Autumnhouse for the huge impact the renovation has made on our day to day. Our home is not only gorgeous but now a fully effective space. We have gained precious time to spend with family and friends, free from the added stress of a nonfunctional, chaotic house. It’s incredible to see how much our space can influence the flow of daily living. Jody has remarkable instincts in this area. We are forever grateful.”

  • "Jody is so joyful to work with. She takes on your project as if it were her own home, and is totally dedicated to making your space beautiful and functional. She is also extremely technical, and can flex with your needs, ranging from architectural drawings to custom furnishings design."

  • "Autumnhouse makes the entire process fun and inspiring, while also being incredibly fast and efficient in transforming your home."

  • "Jody has this unique gift of entering a room and knowing exactly what to do. She has an unbelievable creative eye and has a lovely way of working. The end result- our stunning new home where we feel welcome, calmed, and secure."

  • “Jody took our (very outdated) traditional Tudor style home and updated it to be a warm, inviting, relevant space that still pays tribute to its classic origin. She is serious about honoring the history of a place.”
